Split Oak Press has finally arrived! Happy May Day everyone!
Several weeks later than anticipated we have finally gone from web drab to digital fab!
We are thoroughly excited to be occupying this little corner of cyberspace, sheltered under our thick split branches and oak leaf canopy. We’ve outgrown the old site and need to deepen our roots elsewhere!
The website continues to be a work-in-progress, so please excuse any hiccups or blemishes that may reveal themselves. Our intern, Kaylie, is a graduating senior at Ithaca College, and as she is the individual that oversees the press’s online presence, it may be a little while until some little oversights get fixed and smoothed over.
The #Oakleaf Twitter contest continues to challenge twitter poets and writers each week with a different prompt, and we are very pleased with the great entries we have seen.
We also look forward to expanding our author and staff pages, fleshing out details and proudly presenting the great work that our personnel and clientele do.
There will even be blog posts from interns and staff, so keep an eye out for an inside look into the minds of editors, writers, and students alike!
Again, thank you all for your patience, and for the hard work of the Split Oak team.
