Secrets is the rather strange tale of a college professor, Richard Grady, and Crockett, a highly unusual dog that loves good food and wine, and tries to keep his master from acting too outrageous. Professor Grady is obsessed with secrets, his own and those of the young woman who believes in her own lies.

Fred A. Wilcox is a poet, short story writer, and novelist. His book, Waiting for an Army to Die (Random House 1983) broke the story on the use of Agent Orange/chemical warfare in Vietnam. His other work includes books on the Catholic Worker movement, and Chasing Shadows: Memoirs of a 'Sixties Survivor.
